Inventory Sync Explained
Keep your stock levels on Hutch consistent with your store, automatically.
Sync Levels
Daily:
Stock syncs overnight. Suitable for brands with a single sales channel or low stock turnover. Available on most channels.
Live:
Stock syncs immediately when it changes on Hutch. Only available on a few channels, notably Shopify. This gives the most up-to-date sync, though high-volume sellers can hit rate limits, where your store only allows a set number of updates per hour or day. A daily sync also runs as a backup when live sync is enabled.
Disabled:
Stock isn't synced to this channel.
Bundles
Inventory sync also keeps bundle stock accurate. For example, if you hold 12 units of a T-shirt SKU and also sell it as a three-pack, Hutch knows to sync 12 units for the single SKU and 4 units for the three-pack.
Managing Inventory Sync
Go to Settings > Integrations and scroll to the channel you want to manage. Each integration card has a toggle to switch between sync levels. Some channels also have a Perform sync now button, which triggers an immediate sync in the background, this can take up to 15 minutes.
If your store supports multiple warehouses or locations, Hutch syncs inventory to your default location.
