How to set up shipping rules

When your account is set up, default shipping rules apply automatically. You can also create your own to match your store's checkout options.

Your default rules use Royal Mail UK Second Class for the UK, DHL or FedEx for the US, and Royal Mail International for Europe and the rest of the world.

To create your own shipping rule:

  1. Go to Settings > Shipping rules, then press Create shipping rule.

  2. Add a name for the rule. This is just for your reference.

  3. Enter the shipping rule exactly as it appears on your store. If the copy isn't identical, the system won't recognise it and will fall back to the default rule.

  4. Select the shipping region: United Kingdom, United States, Europe or rest of the world.

  5. Select the shipping method for that region.

  6. Press Create rule.

Important: The rule text must match your store's checkout option exactly, including spacing and punctuation.
