How Orders Are Checked For Fraud

Some sales channels flag high-risk orders automatically, and Hutch holds these for your review.

Some channels, such as Shopify, have built-in fraud detection. When available, Hutch checks the fraud rating and places the order on hold so it doesn't dispatch without your approval.

Details of the fraud review appear as a comment on the order, for example "Shopify flagged order as high risk with a fraud score of 1.0. Their recommendation is to cancel".

To proceed with the order, update the status to Processing.
To cancel it, update the status to Cancelled.

Note: Cancelling an order on Hutch doesn't cancel it on your store. You'll need to cancel it there separately.
