Courier Compensation Explained

What you can claim back from each courier if a parcel is lost or damaged.

The maximum compensation you can claim depends on the courier. If your claim amount is lower than the limits below, you'll be credited the lower value. Cover above these amounts is chargeable on top of your shipping costs.

Royal Mail (UK tracked)

Maximum compensation: £150. Claims aren't accepted for parcels sent on an untracked service.

Royal Mail (international tracked)

Maximum compensation: £50. Claims aren't accepted for parcels sent on an untracked service.

FedEx (International Connect tracked)

Maximum compensation: £50.

DPD

Maximum compensation: £100. DPD doesn't accept claims on glass or breakable products.
